New Academic Ambassadors needed

We are currently recruiting for Academic Ambassadors and I hoped that you might be interested in joining the team. The Academic Ambassador role provides an exciting opportunity for our postgraduate students to work on a range educational and outreach projects.

Typically the role involves developing and delivering subject specific sessions based on your own research experience and interests; sessions are delivered to school, college and/or community groups both on and off campus. All work undertaken as an Academic Ambassador is paid at Band D of the Ambassador Band Structure (currently £18.40 p/h).

Working for the School in this capacity is an excellent opportunity to interact with a range of individuals and students. You will have the freedom to develop your own portfolio of sessions, enhance your teaching experience and to see your subject enjoyed and understood by new audiences. It is a very rewarding role.
