In order to allow the Postal Services staff to join the Estates Team for a Christmas lunch on Friday 18 December 2015, there will be changes to the usual postal arrangements and delivery/collection times at the Canterbury campus.
Please note that on 18 December there will be no further mail deliveries or collections after 11am. Timings will be brought forward for the departments that normally have their first or only delivery/collection after this time. The Post Room will be closed between 11am and 4pm and the postal counter service for personal mail will not be open on this day. If mail volumes are not excessive, outgoing items collected before 11am should still be processed on the same day. Urgent items of business mail may be hand delivered to the Post Room between 4-4.20pm on the 18 December, where they will be processed in order of priority.
On Monday 21 December and Tuesday 22 December a normal service will operate.
On Wednesday 23 December there will be no further mail collections after 10.30am. Please ensure that all outgoing mail is at your collection point in time for your first collection to ensure that it is sent out before the Christmas closure. Departments that usually have their first or only delivery/collection after this time will have a collection at 10am. The postal counter service for personal mail will not be open on this day and it will not be possible to send any items via DHL or Parcelforce.
