It is aimed at anyone working within an international child protection context or for anyone with an interest in learning more about this diverse area of child protection. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/sspssr\/ccp\/samodules\/indexnewmodules.html\">Our website has further details and link to apply<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This part-time distance-learning module is undertaken over 10 weeks starting in February each year.\u00a0 The aim of the module is to provide students with a chance to develop a critical understanding of international child protection practice. It will facilitate critical discussion and expression of informed views on various types of international child protection interventions used by agencies across the world by exploring issues of diversity, anti-oppressive practice, cultural and emotional intelligence and the politics of international policy design. The module will significantly consider service users&#8217; perspectives of the support as well as what does and does not work. It will consider implications and interpretations of the United Nations Convention of the Rights of the Child and robustly evaluate this legislation in practice.
