This focused event concentrates on therapeutic working with children and adolescents with intellectual disabilities. The programme draws together the academic, research and practical aspects to present a comprehensive picture of the key issues. Parental, community and clinical contexts will be considered and approaches to managing these situations discussed. Assessment, treatment and intervention are covered and the multi-disciplinary views and perspectives of the presenters shared.<\/p>\n
