Dr Beth Breeze, Director of the Centre for Philanthropy, has been selected by a panel led by Professor Philippe De Wilde, the Pro Vice-Chancellor for Research and Innovation, to receive the \u2018Starting Research Prize\u2019 this year.<\/p>\n
The prize recognises Beth\u2019s exceptional achievements in conducting robust and relevant research in partnership with the charity sector on a range of topics. Her nomination highlighted a number of research studies that collectively shed light on the role and importance of charity, philanthropy and fundraising in contemporary society.<\/p>\n
The Research Prizes were launched in the Kent\u2019s fiftieth anniversary year, and celebrate the wide range of outstanding research across the University.<\/p>\n
