Congratulations to Dr Jane Reeves, Co-Director of the Centre for Child Protection\u00a0and Alamgir Sheriyar, Active Referral Co-ordinator Kent Police,\u00a0who will receive The Chief Constable’s Commendation & Merit Award.\u00a0 The award will be presented by Chief Constable Mr Alan Pughsley at tonight’s ceremony, taking place at Kent Police Training School, Maidstone.<\/p>\n
This prestigious award is in recognition of their extensive\u00a0work\u00a0raising awareness of online grooming and radicalization; in particular\u00a0for the innovative child protection simulation ‘Zak’ which is being used widely by professionals and young people.<\/p>\n
