The Centre for Philanthropy, based in the School of Social Policy, Sociology and Social Research, is researching the history of donations to our University since it was founded in 1965.<\/p>\n
Some are recorded in official documents, but many are not.\u00a0 Centre researchers would like to hear from you if you know of any donations of money, equipment, trees, benches, art, books etc. or of any philanthropic acts such as work with charities.\u00a0 The results will be published in a book to be launched at an event on ‘Understanding Philanthropy\u2019 in June 2015.<\/p>\n
