Yet at this time, organisations face enormous social, economic, political and policy pressures and need staff with the knowledge and skills to navigate and negotiate these challenges; Kent’s NCVO Scholarship is designed to address this need by making access more affordable.

The MA Civil Society, NGO and Non-profit Studies is unique in its combination of specialist civil society research and teaching expertise. Covering the third sector, philanthropy and social movements alongside more general social science options including research methods and a range of social and policy topics, the programme equips students with core skills and knowledge.
