We are delighted to\u00a0announce our\u00a0‘New Perspectives on Assessment’ module. Running\u00a0from January 2014\u00a0for 10 weeks, the module is designed for\u00a0child protection professionals looking to improve their practice and develop their skills whilst working.<\/p>\n
All the\u00a0study\u00a0is completed online\u00a0with\u00a0access to\u00a0online forums,\u00a0journal articles and specialist materials. Additionally, we have arranged for access to a range of\u00a0films presented by Professor David Shemmings.<\/p>\n
The module has been launched to help professionals\u00a0broaden their understanding and improve their skills in the\u00a0area\u00a0of\u00a0assessment. By undertaking this\u00a0detailed and specialist\u00a0module, we hope to provoke thought and discussion amongst students\u00a0and\u00a0to improve\u00a0personal performance and professional practice. The benefit of studying whilst working is that you can apply your knowledge to real situations.<\/p>\n
Successful completion of\u00a0an assignment\u00a0marks the end of the module\u00a0which is equivalent to 20 credits at Masters level. This is also\u00a0great way to\u00a0see if you want to continue\u00a0to Master’s level study with us.<\/p>\n
