Last month, the editorial team from Advances in Autism awarded two members of staff from Tizard Centre the 2022 Emerald Literati Award. Nathan Keates, Lecturer in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and Krysia Waldock, PhD student and Research Assistant at the Institute for Cyber Security in Society, were the two worthy winners. Both received the Outstanding Reviewers award which recognises and celebrates reviewers for ensuring papers published make a genuine impact to the academic field.
Their hard work and high-quality peer-reviewing of papers submitted to the journal landed them with this accolade.
Sally Wilson, Publishing Director at Emerald, commented: “We value the hard work and commitment that goes into writing and reviewing high quality papers, so it is really important to us as a publisher to be able to celebrate and give global recognition to those who have made a significant impact within their field through our awards programme.”
“We would like to congratulate all of this year’s winners, all of whom have been chosen based on their research excellence, rigour and relevance.”
Tizard Centre is delighted that this award has been bestowed upon Nathan and Krysia.
