Social Policy at Kent has achieved an excellent 4th position in the subject table just published in The Guardian University Guide 2020.
Rising from 9th in the table last year, Social Policy continues to achieve a high ranking, attaining a rating of excellence of 90.2 out of 100, based on a combination of all the factors taken into consideration in compiling the Guardian table.
The varied expertise in the School of Social Policy, Sociology and Social Research means students can choose from a wide range of optional modules, selecting to study areas of particular interest relating to their career aspirations. High levels of support and friendly and accessible staff all contribute to the high percentage of first year students continuing to the second on Social Policy courses.
Social Policy was also recently ranked 12th in the UK in The Complete University Guide 2020 subject table, rising three places from its position in 2019.
