Julia Twigg, Professor of Social Policy and Sociology, spoke about men, dress and age on BBC Radio 4’s ‘Thinking Allowed’ yesterday.
Julia talked about the responses of older men to dress, exploring the continuing norm or low engagement that marks the dominant response, but noting also that men are at the same time engaged and interested in clothes as part of a general presentation of life in everyday life.
