Kent’s Centre for Child Protection has created a training event specifically for professionals working with vulnerable children and families.
The one-day programme focuses on the issue of neglect and will provide you with the opportunity to explore the realities and implications of different aspects of neglect in relation to your own training needs and workplace setting.
The masterclass will utilise the technology of computer simulations to allow you to fully experience and practice a range of situations and outcomes. Run at Kent’s Tonbridge Centre, delegates will benefit from the unique dynamic of a masterclass which encourages the sharing of knowledge and ideas. This masterclass is ideal for individuals wanting to explore the wider issues of neglect in a safe and supported environment with the aim of increasing their professional confidence and improving their work practices.
The masterclass is being run on Wednesday 3 December, 10.00-16.00, more information and booking information can be found on our website.
If you are interested in delivering this class to a group within your organisation or are unable to attend on this date, we would be happy to discuss alternative arrangements. Please contact k.a.paine@kent.ac.uk
