Dr Beth Breeze has been named in a poll of the 50 most influential people in UK fundraising.
Fundraising magazine opened the online poll to readers in late April and ran it for six weeks. They had nearly 300 voters with 348 names put forward. The final list included 22 people primarily employed directly by a charity, 15 consultants or others working in a commercial organisation, six people working in umbrella organisations, five members of the media or academia and one politician.
Beth said, “I’m genuinely amazed to be named on a list that includes so many of the people that I hugely admire, including those who raise huge sums for good causes, those who make sure the policy context is as conducive as possible for giving, as well as fellow academics with whom the Centre for Philanthropy at the University of Kent has a great working relationship.”
