Netmums asks: Does childhood end at 12?

Kent Lecturer comments on Netmums' Survey

Parenting site, Netmums, recently published a survey entitled “Tweens – does childhood end at age 12?” The survey revealed that many Netmums members feel that their children are growing up much faster than previous generations.

Kate Bradley, Lecturer in Social History at the University of Kent, puts these parental concerns into historical context in an opinion article published by History and Policy.
