Professor Chris Shilling has recently had several of his books translated into foreign languages. His The Body and Social Theory has just been published in Arabic with El Ain Press, while a Chinese edition of his The Body in Culture, Technology and Society has appeared with Weber Press, and a Chinese edition of his The Sociological Ambition: Elementary Forms of Social and Moral Life (co-authored with P.A. Mellor) has been published with Peking University Press. Polish and Korean translations of his works are also in process.
