The University of Kent are offering five 3-year PhD scholarships (full-time or 5 years part-time) supported by the Applied Research Collaboration Kent, Surrey and Sussex (ARC KSS). We welcome applications to undertake health and social care services research and/or evaluation commencing in October 2020. These studentships are linked to the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration Kent, Surrey and Sussex which aims to develop applied health and social care research across the region for the benefit of patients and the public.
Dr Melanie Rees-Roberts, ARC KSS Research Programme Manager stated that ‘We are extremely pleased to offer these scholarships as part of the new Applied Research Collaboration Kent, Surrey and Sussex (ARC KSS). These scholarships will make an important contribution to the aim of ARC KSS by ‘improving the quality of life of people in need of and receiving health and social care services and their families through applied research’. Successful students will benefit from the wide collaborative community within ARC KSS and will be supported through the ARC KSS academy’.
