Professor Peter Taylor-Gooby appeared on BBC Radio Kent’s The Wake Up Call programme this week to discuss the two-child cap on benefit with MEP Ann Widdecombe.
Professor Taylor-Gooby argues that the cap condemns some 600,000 children to be brought up below the poverty line and that this is not good for anyone. Facts and figures published by the the Child Poverty Action Group show the shocking reality of child poverty in the UK.
