Nick Gore, Tizard’s answer to Mo Farah, is running the London Marathon this Saturday.
Following on from his previous challenge of running Hadrian’s Wall, Nick is competing in the London Marathon on behalf of the Challenging Behaviour Foundation. This is Nick’s first attempt and he has been training hard (so he tells us)and so far he has raised £794.00.
The Challenging Behaviour Foundation is a dynamic charity that provides support to family carers of children and adults who have complex learning disabilities and are at risk of behaviour that challenges. (www.challengingbehaviour.org.uk)
“I have drawn considerable inspiration and benefitted greatly from guidance offered by the CBF in both my clinical and research work over the past years and am honoured to be running in their name.”
