We are delighted to announce that Dr Marcus Redley, Senior Research Associate at the University of Cambridge, will be giving the first in our series of Research Seminars on Wednesday 26th September at 1700-1800 hrs. The talk is held in the Symposium Room at the Kent Business School (University of Kent).
“Valuing people, challenging indifference, and promoting access: the provision of healthcare for men and women with learning disabilities”
Dr Redley’s presentation seeks to provide an overview of both the high aspirations and the current controversies that surround healthcare for men and women with learning disabilities. In addition new research into access to healthcare, undertaken by the Cambridge Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research Group will be presented.
This is followed by a short informal drinks reception where you can meet both the Speaker and members of the Tizard Team.
