Jo Warner, with Elaine Sharland (Sussex), has co-edited a special issue of The British Journal of Social Work entitled ‘Risk and Social Work: Critical Perspectives. This timely volume comprises a diverse range of fifteen key papers including empirical, policy-oriented and theoretical pieces. Papers address topics across the range of social work domains, from child abuse, mental health, ageing and disability, and the authors include prominent and established figures from the social work academy as well as newer voices.
