Phil Carney’s and Vince Miller’s recent collaborative work on cultural geography has resulted in the publication in July of a chapter ‘Vague Spaces’ in the book ‘Strange Spaces:Geographical Explorations into Mediated Obscurity’ edited by André Jansson & Amanda Lagerkvist and published by Ashgate. Meanwhile, Vince’s recent article ‘New Media, Networking and Phatic Culture’, published initially in ‘Convergence: The International Journal of Research into New Media Technologies’, Vol. 14, No. 4, 387-400 (2008) is being reprinted in Blackwell’s New Media and Cybercultures Reader to be released in January 2010.
