{"id":3618,"date":"2023-02-21T16:22:25","date_gmt":"2023-02-21T16:22:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/spskent\/?p=3618"},"modified":"2023-02-21T16:25:13","modified_gmt":"2023-02-21T16:25:13","slug":"3i-university-network-funding-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/spskent\/2023\/02\/21\/3i-university-network-funding-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"3i University Network funding awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.3iuni.eu\/en\/home\">Interregional Internationalisation Initiative (3i) University Network<\/a> \u2013 a collaboration between Kent and three other Universities \u2013 has awarded over \u20ac50,000 to fund six projects that will strengthen cross-border collaborations, and hopefully lead to larger grants for joint projects.<\/p>\n<p>Tackling a range of challenges such as seaweed as a food source, arts and humanities as a source for health and well-being and coastal protection, the projects involve external partners and foster societal impact.<\/p>\n<p>Hannah McNorton, Head of International Partnerships says: \u2018This round of funding demonstrates Kent\u2019s continued commitment to our nearest partners and the ambition we have in nurturing and extending these links.
