Here are Chemistry related ones for you to check out.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rsc.org\/periodic-table\/podcast\">Periodic table podcast<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chemistryworld.com\/podcasts\">Chemistry world podcast<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.radleys.com\/blog\/chemistry-podcasts-youll-want-to-tune-into\/\">Radley&#8217;s Chemistry podcasts<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>TV\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019ve caught up on all the latest boxsets and are looking for something new to watch why not check out one of our recommended Chemistry, related documentaries:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/iplayer\/episodes\/b00qbq7f\/chemistry-a-volatile-history\">\u201cChemistry: a volatile history\u201d<\/a>\u00a0on BBC by Jim Al-Khalili<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCFhXFikryT4aFcLkLw2LBLA\">NileRed<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/NurdRage\">NurdRage\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0youtube channels provide bite-size chemistry shows.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat if?\u201d by Randall Munroe \u2013 Check out the one hour\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=7GIDDaF26zE\">Google talk<\/a>\u00a0on the book topics or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/xkcd.com\/\">take a look at the\u00a0Webcomic<\/a>\u00a0that lead to book.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Books\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re sick of screen time and want to read something a bit different, we have a couple of recommendations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe New Science of Strong Materials\u201d by J E Gordon \u2013\u00a0\u00a0<em>beautifully written and very easy to read, and show both how useful simple models are and how they can fail us.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat if?\u201d by Randall Munroe\u00a0 \u2013\u00a0<em>quote its own subtitle, \u201cSerious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions\u201d.\u00a0 Dr Ewan Clark explains that \u201cthis book manages to be both side-splittingly<\/em>\u00a0<em>funny and the best example I\u2019ve ever seen on how to analyse problems like a scientist.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cUncle Tungsten\u201d by Oliver Sacks \u2013\u00a0<em>Dr Emma McCabe describes this as \u201ca popular science book that you might enjoy\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>If there\u2019s a Chemistry related book, show or film that you love, why not share it with us?
