Welcome back to all of you<\/span> and welcome to those of you who are joining us anew!<\/span><\/p>\n

This year is going to be tougher in terms of student and graduate jobs and placements than usual. However, there are still opportunities out there and you should be applying now. To underscore this I have added juicy jobs for each year group that you can consider and apply for. <\/span>The message is to be optimistic and resilient to the challenges ahead.<\/span><\/p>\n

Be flexible about what you are prepared to apply for and where you are prepared to go. When you graduate the fact that you have engaged in graduate level work experience of any type will be of greater value to the employers that the actual role that you <\/span>undertook.<\/span><\/p>\n

This year, however, will be entirely new territory for us all and because of this I am starting off the year with a roundup of what the coming autumn will look like for activity in placements and employability. <\/span>Please pay attention to the stage specific information below for your activity.<\/span><\/p>\n

Much of the delivery will be online using a variety of tools. There is a <\/span>Physical Sciences Employability Moodle<\/span> for your all to access and there are broader services and events such as the <\/span>C<\/span>areers and Employability Service (<\/span>CES<\/span><\/a>). <\/span><\/p>\n

This year their annual <\/span>Careers Fair<\/span><\/a> is taking place virtually<\/span> a<\/span>nd <\/span> is an opportunity for students to meet with exhibitors offering a variety of graduate and undergraduate opportunities, ranging from Graduate Schemes, Year in Industry placements and Summer Internships to Insight Days.<\/span><\/p>\n

This IP workshop for <\/span>first year undergraduates<\/span> is an opportunity to explore the practice of <\/span>Intellectual Property Law<\/span><\/a> at Bristows. Consisting of interactive sessions, Q&As and networking throughout the day. The day will conclude with a discussion about further opportunities at the firm. <\/span>In light of COVID-19, this workshop will take place through an online platform.<\/span><\/p>\n

The IP workshop for first year undergraduates will take place on <\/span>31 March 2021 at 10am.<\/span><\/p>\n
