As summer approaches, many students around the world are currently researching universities and the exciting degree courses that could shape their future.\u00a0The Complete University Guide<\/a> is a trusted resource that can provide students with important information as they look at finding the right course and university for them.<\/p>\n

In the latest guide, The Complete University Guide 2020<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>Forensic Science at Kent has ranked 4th overall – a fantastic achievement for the team.<\/p>\n

The Complete University Guide 2020<\/h3>\n

Kent’s 4th ranking in the Forensic Science League Table 2020<\/a> is measured in four key areas including student satisfaction, research quality, entry standards and graduate prospects.<\/p>\n

These key areas are measured from The National Student Survey (NSS)<\/a>, completed by final-year undergraduate students, as well as the Research Excellence Framework (REF)<\/a> undertaken by the funding councils. Other areas are measured through UCAS<\/a> tariff scores and Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA)<\/a> data.<\/p>\n

Independent Rankings<\/h3>\n

Student satisfaction was also recognised in\u00a0The Guardian University Guide 2019 <\/em><\/a>with over 91% of final-year Forensic Science students at Kent were satisfied with the overall quality of their course.<\/p>\n

In the National Student Survey 2018, over 94% of final-year Forensic Science students who completed the survey, were satisfied with the overall quality of their course.<\/p>\n

Of Forensic Science students who graduated from Kent in 2017 and completed a national survey, over 88% were in work or further study within six months (DLHE).<\/p>\n
