Forensic Science is ranked 1st in the Guardian University Guide 2023.

We’re delighted to see that Forensic Science is ranked 1st in the Guardian University Guide 2023.

Forensic Science at Kent has reached the top spot in the Guardian University Guide 2023, consistently scoring top marks in areas including course and teaching student satisfaction and career prospects.

Dr Chris Shepherd, the Director of Studies for Forensic Science says:

“We are extremely proud to be ranked 1st in the UK for forensic science in the 2023 Guardian University Guide. This is a testament to everyone at the University of Kent that contributes to creating an enriching community and environment for our passionate students to thrive.”

Forensic Science at Kent teaches a strong scientific background in the chemistry which underpins many areas of the field, while also training students in more applied disciplines through simulated crime scene and major incident exercises and preparation of court-based expert witness testimony where students react in real time to unfolding events.

At Kent, we continue to invest significantly in our forensic science facilities to provide our students with important hands on experiences, putting their knowledge into practice while providing the best experience possible.
