Are you a postgraduate student with a passion for your subject and the desire to help others reach their potential? Would you like to have an impact on students at a pivotal time in their learning journey? This is an opportunity to work with experienced outreach staff, subject specialists, teachers, and a supportive team of other mentors to develop and deliver regular mentoring sessions.
This paid opportunity will be for the academic year 2021-2022, with the potential to continue in the future, and will including training and regular support. Initially you will be working with year 13 students, but there may be the opportunity to work with younger students in the future if you wish. The mentoring will predominantly take place online in 2021-2022, with some occasional events onsite at the schools in Medway (depending on Covid regulations). You will initially be required to deliver mentoring 1 or 2 hours a week on a Wednesday afternoon during school terms (starting September/October 2021), with additional preparation time also paid.
