We are well into the swing of things now. Here is a quick summary of items related to employability going forward.
Physics Students: Get Ready for SEPnet!
SEPnet is a consortium of nine UK university Physics departments that seek to improve the outcomes for Physics students in the South East and to support businesses that seek to employ talented Physics Graduates and Undergraduates within their businesses.
Each March the SEPnet consortium launches its summer placement scheme for that year. This year, I want to give you all a head start so I will be running two information sessions on the 5 February 2020, and the 19 February 2020 at 1pm in Room 110 in the Ingram Building.
Come and find out more about the scheme, look at some case studies of SEPnet employers and hear from former SEPnet placement students regarding how much they have benefited from the scheme. There will be another presentation and information session after the winter break, watch this space!
