To help you settle into life at Kent, we will be running a series of School focused events for Postgraduate students as part of Kent’s Welcome Week. This week, between 16-20 September, is a fantastic opportunity to meet other new students, familiarise yourself with the school and wider university as well as meet the academics who will be teaching and supporting you.
For those of you who are new to SPS and Kent – congratulations on securing your place here and welcome!
This blog post focuses on the events for postgraduate students – check out our post on Undergraduate Welcome Week for information about UG events.
We encourage you to attend all of the events applicable to your course, in particular the Welcome to PG Research at Kent Talk, School BBQ and Icebreakers on Tuesday 17 September. These events will give you the chance to meet some of our staff and fellow PG students – including current ones.
Look out for your Welcome to SPS pack in the post, which will include your personalised timetable – as well as your raffle ticket for our hoody prize draw.
If you don’t receive a raffle ticket please let us know so we can still enter you into the draw. We will have spare copies of all timetables at the Student Office Counter in the Ingram foyer if you need another one, or email firstname.lastname@example.org and we can send you a copy.
