Applications are now open for students studying Astronomy, Space Science and Astrophysics at the University of Kent to apply for an exciting place on the ASTRON/JIVE Summer Student Programme for 2019.

About the Student Programme

The Netherlands Institute for Radio Astronomy (ASTRON) and the Joint Institute for VLBI ERIC (JIVE) have a limited number of grants for their 2019 Summer Research Programme. Successful applicants have the exciting opportunity to enjoy 10-12 weeks over the summer, at the institue of Dwingeloo in the Netherlands, with the chance to conduct astronomical research under the supervision of staff from ASTRON and JIVE.

Applications

Applications for the programme should be sent via the registration form on www.astron.nl. Please note that two letters of reference are needed; names and contact information of referees should be filled in before you can submit your application. Deadline for applications is 1 February 2019.
