As you’ve no doubt gathered, Special Collections and Archives has been running the reading service out of a temporary reading room for the last month or so, following a flood in our main offices. I’m pleased to announce that repair work has now been completed and we are hoping to move our service back into the Level 4 reading room from Monday 24th November.<\/p>\n
Because of the sensitive nature of our materials, we do need to make sure that environmental conditions are right for the archives, so we will be monitoring this throughout the week to ensure that the conditions are stable.<\/p>\n
All being well, the interim Level 2 reading room will close at 4.30 on Thursday 20 November<\/strong> to enable furniture to be moved back upstairs.
