On the 20th and 21st May I will be running a drop-in workshop in the TMS gallery that I hope will provide the basis of some bigger exhibition and outreach work.
The workshop is for residents and visitors to think about the ways we navigate the town and re-draw the map from our own perspectives – based on the principles of ‘counter-mapping’ as a method of re-thinking space, ownership and lived experience.
This event will also be running in collaboration with the Sound Art programme tutors and students, who will be running an interactive sound workshop on the subject of location right across the gallery space from me.
