We develop a range of software products, including Java PDF SDK and<br \/>\nImage library for Java developers, and a PDF to HTML5\/SVG converter aimed at the<br \/>\nmobile market.<\/p>\n<p>Our customers range from small start-ups to the largest companies (Cern,<br \/>\nAirFrance, IBM, Paypal, Pearson, UBS, RandomHouse, Zinio, the US and UK<br \/>\ngovernments, and even Adobe).<\/p>\n<p><strong>What we are looking for:<\/strong><br \/>\nWe are looking for a graduate to join our team, initially on a one year contract,<br \/>\nwhich we hope will become a permanent contract. The role is a mix of development<br \/>\nand support with some input in marketing \u2013 we would tailor the exact role to fit the<br \/>\ncandidate. Our main requirements are good Java skills and an ability to learn.<br \/>\nKnowledge of other languages such as JavaScript and Python would also be a<br \/>\nplus.<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will be passionate about programming and be able to talk about<br \/>\nprojects they have worked on outside of university assignments. We would also like<br \/>\nsomeone who works hard and sets themselves high standards but has a sense of<br \/>\n&#8216;fun&#8217; and a life away from the keyboard.<\/p>\n<p>You would be based in the KingsHill office (near West Malling\/Maidstone), with the<br \/>\noption to work from home or remotely on occasion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is it like to work at IDRsolutions?<\/strong><br \/>\nWe are a team of developers so focus obsessively on creating the perfect<br \/>\nenvironment to write code \u2013 we hate meetings and other interruptions so keep them<br \/>\nto a minimum. We are always learning, and Friday afternoons are reserved for your<br \/>\npersonal development.<\/p>\n<p>We develop in a very agile way and you would be joining a small and highly<br \/>\nmotivated team with an interesting, important and meaningful role from Day One.<br \/>\nWe take our work seriously but we also have a sense of fun and discourage working<br \/>\noutside work hours.<\/p>\n<p>There may also be the opportunity to attend events\/conferences overseas and in<br \/>\nUK. In 2018 we attended CodeOne (San Francisco), Business of Software<br \/>\n(UK\/Boston), Devoxx (Antwerp) and DevFest (Istanbul) as well as sending a team to<br \/>\nmeet our new distributor in Tokyo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What we are offering?<\/strong><br \/>\nAt IDRsolutions, you will further develop your Java skills and lots more. You will get<br \/>\nto see exactly how a small software company operates from the inside and be a key<br \/>\npart of the team.<\/p>\n<p>There is a starting base salary of 21,000 pounds before tax and 20 days holiday<br \/>\n(plus Bank holidays). You would also be eligible to join the Company profit sharing<br \/>\nscheme (which pays out 20% of company profits each quarter) and we offer a<br \/>\nworkplace pension.<\/p>\n<p>If you are after a 10 storey office block, 80 hour weeks, a corporate mentality and<br \/>\nbelieve that interviews are about knowing the correct stock answers, we will not be<br \/>\nof interest.
