VirtTrade make Digital Trading Card Games for leading brands including Discovery, Formula 1, and Valiant Comics. In 2018 were named \u2018one of the hottest start-ups in the UK\u2019 by City AM.<\/p>\n

Current Roles for Undergraduates\/Post-Graduates:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Android Developer<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are looking for a Junior Android Developer (potentially a sandwich year placement) with understanding of common Android patterns and code structures, and knowledge of SQLite, MySQL or similar database management system. We know that at this level you won\u2019t be an expert on everything but we are looking for evidence of strong skills and a commitment to learning.<\/p>\n

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, helpful to others and constructive in feedback. What you\u2019ll get is fantastic experience on a major brand with a great team.<\/p>\n

Graduate Artworker<\/strong><\/p>\n

VirtTrade is looking for an artworker to join their expanding team, working on digital assets for brands such as Formula 1, Discovery and Valiant comics. The role is based in Tunbridge Wells although you will be able to work remotely for 3 \/ 4 days per week.<\/p>\n

There will be many opportunities for creativity and innovation, but please be aware this is primarily a production\/artworking role.<\/p>\n

Required Skills<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud software, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator (AfterEffects an advantage but not necessary)
\n\u2022 Image manipulation and strong graphic design skills
\n\u2022 Ability to QA digital assets, including proofing copy
\n\u2022 Some experience of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
\n\u2022 Strong organisational skills
\n\u2022 Good, clear communication
\nWe will expect the right candidate to be a self-starter and have a real desire to excel. There will be a short test as part of the interview process.<\/p>\n
