These are important opportunities that allow undergraduates to gain relevant industry experience and even have the opportunity to be fast tracked through the application process for graduate schemes. The <strong>closing date for Summer Placements is 7th January 2018. <\/strong><\/p>\n<h4>Software Academy Summer Placement<\/h4>\n<p>Work with the award-winning Software Development teams and create exciting new technologies to make sure Sky stays ahead of the game.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration:<\/strong> 6-8 weeks<br \/>\n<strong>Requirements:<\/strong> You\u2019ll currently be studying at university and in your penultimate year. If you\u2019ve already graduated, please see our graduate opportunities.<br \/>\n<strong>Location(s):<\/strong> Leeds and Osterley, West London<br \/>\n<strong>Start date:<\/strong> July 2018<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the programme<\/strong><br \/>\nTechnology is at the heart of our business, developing new products and services to provide our customers with the best possible experience. In Software Engineering, the team write brilliant, incredibly detailed software that delivers for our customers.<br \/>\nThis is your chance to see how one of the biggest Agile teams in the UK works in practice to develop products and services for our customers and Sky as a business. You\u2019ll spend your summer working with a team of Associate Software Developers.
