{"id":469,"date":"2017-11-15T13:22:02","date_gmt":"2017-11-15T13:22:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/soc-employability\/?p=469"},"modified":"2017-11-15T13:22:02","modified_gmt":"2017-11-15T13:22:02","slug":"female-scholarship-and-internship-with-juniper-networks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/soc-employability\/2017\/11\/15\/female-scholarship-and-internship-with-juniper-networks\/","title":{"rendered":"Female Scholarship and Internship with Juniper Networks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Institute of International Education (IIE) Women Enhancing Technology (WeTech) initiative is proud to partner with Juniper Networks to invest in young women and future leaders in science, technology, engineering, math (STEM)<\/p>\n<p>Through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iie.org\/WeTech-Juniper\">WeTech<\/a>, Juniper Networks is investing in building the global pipeline of women in STEM by providing scholarships to current female STEM students in India, Europe, and the United States. Scholarship recipients also complete an internship at a Juniper Networks global office in gaining real-world experience and exposure to a leading multinational technology company.<\/p>\n<p>Two scholarships to the amount of $7,000 will be awarded to female students at accredited universities in the European Union for the 2018 school year.
