The study involves sitting in front of a computer screen and playing a simple game with another person over headsets. You must be a native speaker of British English to participate.\u00a0 If you are interested in participating, please email\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:linglab@kent.ac.uk\">linglab@kent.ac.uk<\/a>\u00a0with some times you would be available on Tuesdays, Wednesday, or Thursdays, between 10am and 5pm.\u00a0The study will be running on those days and times from now until mid-July, in the Linguistics lab (Cornwallis Central 118).\u200b<\/p>\n<p>Thank you,<\/p>\n<p>Dr Gloria Chamorro<\/p>\n<p>Lecturer in Applied Linguistics<\/p>\n<p>Director of MA Applied Linguistics with TESOL<\/p>\n<p>University of Kent<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>Mobile Biometrics Data Collection<\/h1>\n<p>I am looking for volunteers to take part in a data collection I am running as part of my PhD work. The data collection will happen as two individual sessions around two weeks apart. Once the first session is complete, I will be in touch to arrange the second session.<\/p>\n<p>I am investigating the performance of Biometrics (Fingerprint, Face, Voice and Iris) when operated on a smartphone device within multiple scenarios and conditions (Sitting, Standing and Walking).<\/p>\n<p>The first session will take place within the Jennison Building, and the second will require you to take a quick tour around campus. I\u2019m currently collecting data for my first PhD study \u2013 a short (20 mins) online survey assessing the traits of male HE students in the UK.\u00a0Any student who completes my study in full can enter a prize draw to\u00a0<strong>win an iPad Mini 4 (RRP \u00a3399)<\/strong>.
