We are looking for current students, both Undergraduate and Postgraduate, to volunteer as Unibuddies.
Unibuddy is a free platform which allows prospective students to talk to current students at Kent. Prospective students are able to chat informally with a peer and get a real feel for what it might be like if they choose to study at Kent.
We are looking for current Computing students, both undergraduate and postgraduate, to volunteer to represent the School of Computing on Unibuddy and to talk to prospective students about what it is like to study Computing at Kent. We may also ask you to get involved in Live Unibuddy chats.
Ambassadors who sign up to Unibuddy get employability points and the university also announce a buddy of the month every month with the chosen buddy winning a £10 Amazon voucher.
Want to sign up? On top of good karma for helping other people out, you also get:
- 30 Employability Points for signing up
- 10 points for attending the training session
- Additional 10 points for the most committed ‘buddy’ per month
- Additional 5 points for best blog post per month
- Will count towards KSCV
If you would be interested in becoming a Unibuddy please email csemploy@kent.ac.uk with Unibuddy in the subject line.
I look forward to hearing from you.
