Language study
We are looking for participants in a language study about dialogue, which takes approximately 45 minutes and pays £10 (Amazon voucher). The study involves sitting in front of a computer screen and playing a simple game with another person over headsets. You must be a native speaker of British English to participate. If you are interested in participating, please email linglab@kent.ac.uk with some times you would be available on Tuesdays, Wednesday, or Thursdays, between 10am and 5pm. The study will be running on those days and times from now until mid-July, in the Linguistics lab (Cornwallis Central 118).
Thank you,
Dr Gloria Chamorro

Mobile Biometrics Data Collection
I am looking for volunteers to take part in a data collection I am running as part of my PhD work. The data collection will happen as two individual sessions around two weeks apart. Once the first session is complete, I will be in touch to arrange the second session.
I am investigating the performance of Biometrics (Fingerprint, Face, Voice and Iris) when operated on a smartphone device within multiple scenarios and conditions (Sitting, Standing and Walking).
The first session will take place within the Jennison Building, and the second will require you to take a quick tour around campus. You will be paid an incentive of a £15 Amazon voucher upon completion of both sessions.
If you would like to participate then please sign-up using the doodle poll link provided here: https://doodle.com/meetme/qc/dNGqykI5W5
The data collection will take place upstairs in the measurement room of the Jennison Building – Room 1.33B (next to Dr Mike Green’s office). You will need to fill in a “Participation Information Sheet” in advance and try to arrive promptly.
If you have any questions or concerns, then please feel free to contact me: mjb228@kent.ac.uk.

Psychology study
My name is Sam Hales and I am a PhD student in the School of Psychology. I’m currently collecting data for my first PhD study – a short (20 mins) online survey assessing the traits of male HE students in the UK. Any student who completes my study in full can enter a prize draw to win an iPad Mini 4 (RRP £399). The study has been ethically approved and participants’ responses are completely anonymous.
The survey can be accessed here:https://kentpsych.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_82Mqj7aP9k3Gk5v
