How long have you been an ambassador and what made you want to become one?
I have been an ambassador for a year and I wanted to become one to have the opportunity to be involved in both the recruitment and outreach schemes offered by SMSAS such as At Kent Days and Masterclasses.
What kind of work have you been involved in as an ambassador?
So far as an ambassador I have been involved in open days, At Kent Days, Applicant Day’s, Royal Institution Masterclasses and A-level refresher sessions.
What’s your favourite thing about being at the University of Kent?
My favourite thing about the University of Kent is that it offers an extensive range of facilities for students to make use of, such as the many study spaces.
Do you have any advice/tips for prospective students?
My advice for prospective students is to make full use of your lecturer’s office hours if you have any queries, as well as to ask questions in lectures.
