{"id":977,"date":"2018-06-01T13:16:57","date_gmt":"2018-06-01T12:16:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/smsasnews\/?p=977"},"modified":"2019-01-09T14:44:23","modified_gmt":"2019-01-09T14:44:23","slug":"university-grant-awarded-to-enhance-teaching-of-the-year-in-data-analytics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/smsasnews\/university-grant-awarded-to-enhance-teaching-of-the-year-in-data-analytics\/","title":{"rendered":"University Grant Awarded to Enhance Teaching of the Year in Data Analytics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/smsas\/our-people\/profiles\/bentham_james.html\">Dr James Bentham<\/a> and<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/smsas\/our-people\/profiles\/mccrea_rachel.html\"> Dr Rachel McCrea<\/a>, statistics academics from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/smsas\/\">School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science (SMSAS) at Kent<\/a>, have been awarded a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/teaching\/TESSAs\/index.html\">Teaching Enhancement Small Support Award (TESSA)<\/a> grant to enhance the education and student experience of those studying the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/smsas\/programmes\/year_in_data_analytics.html\">Year in Data Analytics<\/a> from September 2018.<\/p>\n<p>James and Rachel will receive the full amount of funding requested.
