{"id":716,"date":"2017-12-18T10:19:25","date_gmt":"2017-12-18T10:19:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/smsasnews\/?p=716"},"modified":"2019-01-09T14:46:32","modified_gmt":"2019-01-09T14:46:32","slug":"sweet-end-to-the-term-for-smsas-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/smsasnews\/sweet-end-to-the-term-for-smsas-students\/","title":{"rendered":"Sweet End to the Term for SMSAS Students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Students from the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science (SMSAS) at the University of Kent enjoyed a sweet end to the term after taking part in the SMSAS Festive Challenge.<\/p>\n<p>The Festive Challenge saw SMSAS students hunt around the School&#8217;s new multi-million pound<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/smsas\/student_life\/sibson.html\"> Sibson Building <\/a>every day during the last week of term to find and complete the daily mathematical puzzles and brainteasers for their chance to win prizes.<\/p>\n<p>The first two correctly completed challenge sheets handed in each day received a large tub of Cadburys Heroes. Students who handed in their challenge sheets two days running, received a SMSAS goody bag including a SMSAS hoodie, portable phone charger, thermos, notepad and sticky notes.
