Between the 7th and the 10th of June MingJie Hao and Pradip Tapadar will be in Oslo at the IAA Colloquium to give talks.<\/p>\n
MingJie Hao’s talk, in collaboration with P. Tapadar and G. Thomas,\u00a0is titled “Adverse selection, loss coverage and equilibrium premium in insurance markets” and the paper can be found here<\/a>. MingJie has also secured a bursary from the IAA to attend the conference.<\/p>\n Pradip Tapadar’s talk, in collaboration with\u00a0W. Yang,\u00a0\u00a0is called “Role of the Pension Protection Fund in financial risk management of UK defined benefit pension sector: a multi-period economic capital study” and can be read here<\/a>. Pradip has obtained a grant from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries to attend the conference.<\/p>\n Both are to be congratulated on having papers accepted for the colloquium and also for getting funding.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
