{"id":1704,"date":"2021-09-02T12:12:11","date_gmt":"2021-09-02T11:12:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/smsasnews\/?p=1704"},"modified":"2021-09-02T12:13:05","modified_gmt":"2021-09-02T11:13:05","slug":"dr-constanze-roitzheim-awarded-london-mathematical-society-emmy-noether-fellowship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/smsasnews\/dr-constanze-roitzheim-awarded-london-mathematical-society-emmy-noether-fellowship\/","title":{"rendered":"Dr Constanze Roitzheim awarded London Mathematical Society Emmy Noether Fellowship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Congratulations to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/mathematics-statistics-actuarial-science\/people\/424\/roitzheim-constanze\">Dr Constanze Roitzheim<\/a>, Senior Lecturer in Mathematics at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/mathematics-statistics-actuarial-science\/\">School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science<\/a>, who has been awarded a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lms.ac.uk\/grants\/lms-emmy-noether-fellowships\">London Mathematical Society Emmy Noether Fellowship<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>LMS Emmy Noether Fellowships are designed to enhance the research, broadly construed,\u202fof mathematical scientists who are either re-establishing their research programme after returning from a major break associated with caring responsibilities, or who require support to maintain their research programme while dealing with significant ongoing caring responsibilities.The fellowships are sponsored by a generous donation from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fundraiso.ch\/sponsor\/fondation-liber\">Liber Stiftung<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Roitzheim said: &#8216;I am so delighted with the news of my Fellowship.
