{"id":1303,"date":"2019-05-14T12:21:31","date_gmt":"2019-05-14T11:21:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/smsasnews\/?p=1303"},"modified":"2019-05-14T12:25:24","modified_gmt":"2019-05-14T11:25:24","slug":"school-supports-excellence-in-mathematics-teaching","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/smsasnews\/school-supports-excellence-in-mathematics-teaching\/","title":{"rendered":"School Supports Excellence in Mathematics Teaching"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/smsas\">School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science<\/a> (SMSAS) at the University of Kent, celebrated local excellence in teaching at the Kent Teacher of The Year Award 2019 on Friday 10 May at the Ashford International Hotel.<\/p>\n<p>The School&#8217;s Administration Manager, John Crook, was proud to award\u00a0Thomas Nyaku from Dartford Science and Technology College with the &#8216;Kent Maths Teacher of The Year&#8217;
