{"id":1232,"date":"2019-01-30T16:29:49","date_gmt":"2019-01-30T16:29:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/smsasnews\/?p=1232"},"modified":"2019-02-04T12:49:53","modified_gmt":"2019-02-04T12:49:53","slug":"school-opens-new-student-centre","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/smsasnews\/school-opens-new-student-centre\/","title":{"rendered":"School Opens New Student Centre"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/smsas\">School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science<\/a> (SMSAS) at the University of Kent, opened its new Student Centre, based in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/news\/kentlife\/21045\/canterbury-society-design-award-for-sibson-building\">multi-award-winning Sibson Building<\/a>, on Wednesday 30 January.<\/p>\n<p>The SMSAS Student Centre has been created in response to student feedback and provides SMSAS students with space to study and socialise, including whiteboards, break-out spaces, desks and a social booth.
