Welcome to the School of Mathematics, Statistics & Actuarial Science (SMSAS)!
The School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science (SMSAS for short!) is based in the Cornwallis Building on the University of Kent campus, accessible through the Cornwallis South entrance (next to the Registry building). In this building you’ll find our SMSAS academic staff offices. SMSAS’s Head of School is Dr Clare Dunning. Make sure you have a walk around the building to familiarise yourself with the space!

Information for returning students
If you are continuing in the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science welcome back to a new year at Kent! We are excited to have you back and look forward to seeing you in the welcome back talk which will be on Friday 22 September (11:00-11:30) in the Templeman Lecture Theatre.
