On 14th December 2015, SMSAS attended the STEMnet event ‘STEM at Work,’ which was held at Canterbury Christ Church. The day was attended by six groups of Year 9 students from local Secondary schools, who participated in our established session on Modular Arithmetic.
Our STEMnet contact, Helen Ward, phoned us and said that the session was ‘stunning’ and that she was impressed by our Ambassador’s ability to engage the class and make sure that they were all participating and having fun. Many thanks to Ambassadors, John Lubi and Aamna Awan, for running this session and doing such an excellent job!
