Marina Jimenez Munoz, a PhD student in statistics from the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science (SMSAS) at the University of Kent, has been selected to present a poster at the STEM for Britain 2019 event taking place in the House of Commons on Wednesday 13 March.
Marina’s poster (pictured) explores the variations in bird populations in Britain as part of her research in the Statistical Ecology at Kent group.
If Marina is selected as the winner of the Mathematical Sciences category, she will receive a prize of £2,000.
